Hi, my name is Benedek Lendvai (Coach Benny). I'm an international student-athlete from Budapest, Hungary, competing nationally in the NCAA Championships. After my professional swimming career, I'm trying to stay on the pool deck and experience the coaching field. I had the opportunity to volunteer and work as an assistant coach on the side of Shane Tusup (3X Olympic Gold Medalist coach) and Darren Ward (CEO of Swimming Waikato Hamilton, New Zeland). Before college swimming in the US, I completed an Olympic training cycle practicing as a teammate of Katinka Hosszu (2X Olympic Gold medalist swimmer) for over 3 years. Besides coaching professional swimmers, I've taught kids and adults to swim and provided water safety/swim lessons for the past 6 years.

means to me?
means to me?
Swimming has been a part of my life for the past 18 years meaning everything to me. It thought me how to stand up and get back to hard work after a failure. Competitive swimming also let me get to know my body really well. Physical shape was always something I cared about because of my health as a cancer survivor especially.
